The Lions Club of Mechanicsburg participates in a Lotto Fundraiser originating with the Apalachin Lions in New York.
HOW IT WORKS: Club members sell printed “Lotto Calendars” for $20.00 each. Our club receives $5.00 per calendar, the Apalachin Lions receive $5.00 for the administration fees, and the other $10.00 goes into a prize fund that is distributed throughout the entire year. There NO prizes awarded on Sundays.
The Lotto numbers are taken from the NY State Evening Lottery. The 3 numbers drawn are noted and the winners will be award the amount listed for that particular date on the calendar. Winners will automatically be mailed a check within 21 days of the drawing. Winners do not have to do anything. (OFFICAL RULES ARE PRINTED ON THE CALENDARS)
The buyer picks 3 random numbers 0 through 9, and writes their number on the stub along with their name and contact information.
