The Mechanicsburg Lions Club was delighted to participate in the Second Annual Harvest Festival at Finkenbinder Park. a boo-tiful afternoon for fun, creativity, and community spirit! to bring the community together for a festive fall celebration, the event was filled with autumn charm, friendly faces, and plenty of smiles!
Festival 10-9-26
Our Lions Club booth was buzzing with excitement as little ghouls and goblins stopped by to enjoy three spook-tacular activities: a fun sticker activity, a creative bookmark craft, and an adorable Tootsie Pop ghost! More than 60 children visited our booth to create their very own Halloween-themed masterpieces. The children were all smiles as they cut, pasted, decorated, and brought their imaginative creations to life. It was a real treat to see so much creativity and happiness in one place!
Mother Nature certainly joined the celebration, providing perfect fall weather for the afternoon. Local services, vendors, and community organizations gathered to share their offerings and show their support for this wonderful community event.
But the fun wasn’t just about crafts and candy! Our Lions also took the opportunity to spread the word about who we are and what we do. Several festivalgoers expressed interest in learning more about the Mechanicsburg Lions Club and possibly becoming members. We love seeing new faces and sharing our passion for serving the community!
A big thank you to the Harvest Festival organizers for creating such a wonderful event and to everyone who stopped by our booth. We had a howling good time and look forward to making even more memories at future community events!
At the Mechanicsburg Lions Club, we believe that serving our community can be fun, creative, and rewarding. After all, the best treats are the smiles we share along the way! 🦁🍭
