The Lions Club of Mechanicsburg conducts an annual Open House to prospective members to present our respective service initiatives, activities and charitable donations that support the greater Mechanicsburg community. Our moto is “We Serve” by supporting our local communities in many ways, and uniting to serve global causes and special initiatives to address some of our greatest challenges facing our world today. Recent Activities
The Lions Club of Mechanicsburg conducted its annual Open House on April 21st, welcoming 11 prospective members. Various Lions members presented on their respective service initiatives, specifically Beacon Lodge and Vision Screening. Additionally, we approved the applications of Joel Weirman and Shelly Biting, thereby increasing our membership to 98 individuals. We extend a warm welcome to Joel and Shelly!
It truly was an enjoyable evening, with a delicious dinner of roasted turkey and all the fixings.
