Community Aid is a faith-based, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides financial support to over 500 local nonprofit organizations, focused on housing, food, and basic needs. They operate chain of thrift stores and donate a percentage of sales and product to support our neighbors in need.
Area residents can help the members of the Mechanicsburg Lions Club by providing the Club’s ID number.
The Club also organizes a winter coat drive annually, collecting gently used coats for all ages. Community Aid sells the donated coats at low cost, making them accessible to those in need, right here in our local area. Our Club receives a direct donation from Community Aid as a thank-you.
